DJ Rhidian7

LOS has DJ Rhidian7 to thank for teaching him the basics of mixing. From that moment on IT Takes 2, LOS' & Rhidian7's monthly funky house residency, was born. Their first gig was a boat party on the Thames, in Oxford. Their 8 month residency at Lush quickly followed. Various guest appearances were made at the Millennium Club, Kinky Mambo and the Lounge, but they have now found a new home and residency at the Old Parr's Head, Islington, North London, where they play funky chunky house music from bar chill to floor fill. A seamless blend of the hottest new tunes & classic tracks mixed with original productions. Funky & soulful, electro & retro…all night long! 3rd Saturday of every month.

Brighton Rocks!

LOS has been a guest DJ for DJ collective Brighton Rocks! on a number of occasions, at various venues, including Turnmills, Kinky Mambo and the Progress Bar.
Brighton Rocks! is a collection of selective, individual DJ's with one common passion - a love of music and a fervent desire to present it to a zealous crowd. They play many many gigs, mostly in and around North London. Layers of Sound often appears as a guest DJ for Brighton Rocks, including slots at Turnmills, Kinky Mambo and the Progress Bar.
Brighton Rocks! DJs Darren Clark & Caroline Lovett and It Takes Two have also now combined forces and started a brand new funky chunky house club night, Lascivious, at the Epicurean Lounge, Farringdon London. The first event kicked of on the 3rd of December. A deliciously delectable venue, a devilishly devine selection of funky house - 9pm - 3am. Look out for details of #2 in February.

My Soul

LOS has DJ'd and collaborated on productions with MySoul, the Dublin-native, London-based producer/dj, who has a MINISTRY OF SOUND "HOUSESEXY" residency taking him to the likes of Brazil, Ibiza, Dubai & the UK of course, and his various other appearances at nights around London. On a production level, the awesome electro-fied monster that is ROBHAWK V's MYSOUL "So Shockin!" out on GUNG-HO RECORDINGS was massively popular on the likes of BEATPORT & DJDOWNLOAD, being one of their biggest sellers over the past few months & was also included on the "HOUSESEXY SPRING 2006" album and a couple of MINISTRY OF SOUND albums, including "CLUBBERS GUIDE SUMMER 2006".
